World Poker Tour® and Regent Casino Bucharest are gearing up for the first WPT event in Romania, WPT Bucharest. The entire series which includes two side events and a €3000 + 300 main event is set to run from March 27 – April 2, 2010, at the Novotel Bucarest City Center Hotel.
The main event is expected to draw over 400 players from around the globe and a prize pool of over €1 million.
“We want the WPT Bucharest to become a major event on the international poker scene, and a ‘must do’ for any poker player. The combination of the excellent location, special facilities and great tournament action will keep players coming back.” said Sorin Constantinescu, Regent Casino CEO.
Regent Casino made all the arrangements in order to ensure that WPT Bucharest will be a poker tournament of world class standards. Special accommodation rates are available for tournament players at Novotel Bucarest City Center Hotel during the event.
